Project summary
The project envisages electricity production with the highest efficiency on the basis of introduction of the modern combined cycle gas turbine electricity generation facility that will be constructed at the project site of KCC Ltd accordingly to the highest environmental standards, the natural gas usage as a fuel will assist it. The total facility capacity will be 442,5 MWe at the first stage of development and increase twicely in future.
Technical aspects of the project
Project activity includes the installation of:
- gas turbine;
- steam turbine;
- heat-recovery boiler;
- bypass smoke stack.
The project is in the most modern alternative at the market. For today none of the companies in Ukraine have implemented similar project because of high investment costs, that’s way the project will has the demonstrative effect. Implementation of the project leads to the improvement of Ltd “KCC” profitableness and provides considerable cash revenues for investment reversion. Implementation of the project increases payments to the budgets, promotes the bigger workplace amount formation, and has a positive effect on ecological condition of the region.
